Graeme Bethune - CEO, EnergyQuest
About the presenter:
Graeme Bethune is CEO of EnergyQuest, which he established in 2005 to
provide strategic research and analysis on Australian oil, gas and other
energy sources. EnergyQuest produces quarterly statistical reviews of
Australian oil and gas and undertakes analysis of Australian oil and gas
markets in a global context. It produces an annual review of the
Australian coal seam gas sector for a range of major international and
Australian LNG and coal seam gas companies.
Prior to establishing EnergyQuest, Graeme had 30 years in senior finance
and corporate affairs roles, including 10 years in senior executive
positions with Santos, the major Australian oil and gas producer. Prior
to joining Santos Graeme was Assistant Under-Treasurer in the South
Australian Treasury for nearly 10 years.
Graeme has a first-class honours degree in economics from Monash
University and a PhD from the Australian National University.
