Regulation of Oil & Gas Industry
Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC): http://www.accc.gov.au The ACCC promotes competition and fair trade.It regulates network infrastructure services and reviews retail petrol prices and gas transmission issues.
Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC): http://aemc.gov.au The AEMC is responsible for rule-making, market development and policy advice concerning access to natural gas pipeline services and the elements of broader natural gas markets. It sets out the National Gas Rules under the National Gas Law.

World Petroleum Council: www.world-petroleum.org This site provides reports and speeches from WPC functions. Oil industry news that are updated every 15 minutes are also provided.
Energy Watch Group: http://www.energywatchgroup.org Energy policy needs objective information. The Energy Watch Group was founded as an independent German/international body and its studies include regular reviews of crude oil resources. In German and English.
European Petroleum Industry Association: www.europia.com This site on the downstream oil industry discusses energy policy, and environmental and product quality issues. It also includes limited statistics on European petroleum product demand and refining production.

Centre for Global Energy Studies (CGES): www.cges.co.uk This organisation was founded by Sheikh Yamani and provides executive summaries of its monthly oil report and its outlook for the oil market, as well as speeches by CGES Board members and staff.
