Energy Futures explores climate change and the potential for clean energy technology options to cost-effectively mitigate carbon emissions.

Hosted by the Centre for Energy Technology in conjunction with the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, this series focuses on its research and technology development activities to identify and implement novel clean energy solutions. Suitable for anyone with an interest in research taking place to address the challenges posed by anticipated climate change. These seminars are free of charge and registration is not required.

Launch of the Australian Association for Hydrogen Energy at Ecogen 2010 conference

Organisations and individuals are now invited to register as founder members of the Australian Association for Hydrogen Energy.  More information on the subscription rates and opportunities can be obtained by contacting the association marketing director on marketing@hydrogenaustralia.org.   AIE members are reminded that those who were members of the AIE Hydrogen Division, are entitled to 12 months of free membership of the new association.

The formal Launch of the Australian Association for Hydrogen Energy will be at 5.00 pm on Monday 6th September in the Bayside Lounge at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. This coincides with the first day of the Ecogen 2010 Conference.  Those wishing to attend the launch are asked to contact the Association by email at marketing@hydrogenaustralia.org.  The Ecogen 2010 conference will feature presentations on hydrogen energy and more details can be found at the website www.ecogen2010.com.
