YEP Perth is a knowledge sharing and networking group tailored to the interests of members of the energy industry 35 and under, but open to all.

YEP Perth exists as a neutral platform for the promotion of discussion, networking and professional development - spanning the whole energy supply chain.

In the two years since launching, YEP Perth has organised more than a dozen innovative industry events, attended by over 1000 young energy professionals.

Perth - 29 May 2013 - YEP

Western Power Control Room Site Visit

Western Power has kindly offered to take a limited number of YEPs on a tour of their Network Control Centre in East Perth. You will have the opportunity to visit and learn about of the Transmission System Operations Control Centre (SOCC) and Distribution Network Operations Control Centre (NOCC). These areas aren’t generally made available for public viewing. The tour will run from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.

For operational reasons numbers are strictly limited and RSVP through eventbrite is essential.

We will have some informal networking and drinks at The Royal in East Perth (1km, or 15min walk away) immediately following the tour. Any YEP members who can't get time off work to make the tour are welcome to join us there.
